On March 12, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a pandemic of the disease COVID-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which today represents the main global public health problem. Thus, the question of the potential impact of this infection on pregnancy, breastfeeding and the earliest life of newborns has been brought up to date.
