Peer review is a process wherein the scientific research work of an author is evaluated for its validity, authenticity, relevance, and significance by experts from the author’s own field. This process holds considerable importance for the publication of scientific articles because peer review is used by the journal reviewers to decide whether a particular submission is suitable for publication in a particular journal.
Peer review is an essential process to make sure that only legitimate and best-quality research articles are published.
All manuscripts published by CME Live are peer-reviewed by our eminent editorial board members of the respective journals. We accept online letters or emails from editors as well as comments or changes that might enhance the quality of previously published articles. The manuscripts should be of high quality, reflect solid scholarship of the authors in their fields and the information contained should be accurate and reliable – prerequisites for maintaining the high standards we expect from the contributors.
We are following the publication guidelines suggested by COPE and have also asked the editors to strictly follow the editorial guidelines which are proposed by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics). It is the responsibility of our editors and reviewers to verify that the publication rules and guidelines are properly followed by researchers/authors.
The peer-review process can be explained using the following flow chart. This flow chart represents the peer-review process that our journals follow for screening the submitted manuscripts.
